Damaged or Faulty Items

Every item is carefully inspected before leaving production and again before dispatch.

In the unlikely event that your furniture arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, we will resolve the issue quickly and professionally.

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging (if applicable)
  • A brief description of the issue

Our Customer Care team will review your request within 2 business days.

Depending on the nature of the issue, we will arrange one of the following at no cost to you:

  • Professional in-home repair
  • Replacement component
  • Collection and full replacement
  • Alternative resolution agreed with you

DarkWoodHome will always cover all logistics relating to verified damaged or faulty products. You will never be asked to pay return shipping for manufacturing defects.

5 Year Structural Frame Warranty

Our structural warranty covers:

2 Year Cushion & Foam Warranty

Coverage includes:

  • Significant loss of support
  • Premature foam compression
  • Cushion shape retention
  • Manufacturing defects

1 Year Fabric & Upholstery Warranty

Coverage includes:

  • Stitching defects
  • Seam separation
  • Fabric integrity
  • Manufacturing imperfections
  • Upholstery workmanship

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not extend to:

  • Normal wear and ageing
  • Accidental damage
  • Burns or stains
  • Pet damage
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Commercial use
  • Improper cleaning products
  • Sunlight fading
  • Customer modifications
  • Natural variations in wood grain, texture or colour

Made To Order Policy

Every DarkWoodHome piece is individually crafted specifically for you.

Production begins once your order is confirmed and materials have been allocated.

Because of the bespoke nature of our furniture:
We are unable to accept change-of-mind returns once production has started.

International Orders

DarkWoodHome proudly delivers worldwide.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on destination, customs processing and local courier schedules.

Customers outside the United Kingdom may be responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • Local taxes
  • Customs clearance fees

These charges are determined by local authorities and are not included within the purchase price unless otherwise stated.
